Just as we did last season, we are going to let the fans pick the wrestler
of the week. Our weeks will start on Monday and end the following Sunday.
We then will give you guys a few days or so to send in nominations then
begin the voting. When sending in nominations, please state why they
deserve to be the wrestler of the week, who they beat, and when/where at.
The voting will usually begin on Wednesday or Thursday and end on Sunday
Night. If you would like to make a nomination for the following week,
please send an email to

Week 2
Jason Brantmeier, DePere, 140, 12
Congratulations to Jason on winning the wrestler of the week award for
week 2. Jason’s pin with 3 seconds left in the second period helped DePere
defeat Bay Port for the first time in the school’s history. Heading into
the final match, the Redbirds were losing 26-31 and needed Jason to get a
pin to win the dual. Jason is now 8-2.
