Waukesha North Names New Wrestling Coach
WAUKESHA- Nick Komater as been hired as the new wrestling coach
at Waukesha North High School.
Komater was an assistant under former coach Ben Cesarz last
season and spent nine years running the middle school program
for Arrowhead School District. Komater was also an assistant at
Arrowhead High School.
Komater, a 1998 graduate of Waukesha West, was a two time state
qualifier for the Wolverines. He finished fifth at the WIAA
Division 1 State Tournament his senior season.
"Komater's references spoke highly of his strong knowledge base
and passion for the sport of wrestling," North Athletic Director
Robert Blessington said. "We were impressed with his experience
and interest in building and developing a comprehensive
wrestling program."
