Moudy Boys place Second in first tournament:

On Saturday, December 5 at the Golden Eagles tournament in Algonquin IL,
Kolby and Kyler Moudy of Trevor WI, wrestling for the Stateline
Wildcats, both placed Second in their very first wrestling tournament
and matches.

Kolby, age 8 in the 47-50 lbs division, lost his first match but came
back with a vengeance winning 10-4 in the second match and 10-4 in his
final match.

Kyler, age 10 in the 67-69 lbs division, won his first ever match 18-3
and in his second match had his first pin ever at :54. Kyler lost his
final match after an injury resulting in his Second Place finish.

Both boys are a fine example of what Stateline Wrestling Club and what
first year wrestlers in Wisconsin are accomplishing.

Blake France gets first pin

Congratulations to Blake France of the Stoughton Wrestling Club for getting his very first pin ever in his second tournament in Evansville.
As a first grader, Blake took home his second consecutive 3rd place trophy adding to his other one from Oregon. Blake is enjoying his first year of wrestling and having a lot of fun out on the mats. Blake is heading to Mount Horeb this weekend for hopefully some more pins. Good
luck Blake!!!

Neenah youth takes second in his first tournament

Jack Zeinert age 9 of Neenah Youth Wrestling Club scored a big win and boosted his confidence by winning his first tournament match 9-1 and proceeded to take home a second place medal after coming back for victory in his third match. Jack added 15 points to his team score and helped them take home a 1st place trophy at the Wautoma Stingers Tournament Sunday, January 25. Jack his hoping to follow in his great-uncle's ( Gary Zeinert) footsteps, by going to state and reclaiming the Neenah High school fastest pin record. Jack has only been wrestling since the summer of 2008 after attending a week long camp at Neenha High School. He plans on wrestling for many more years and bringing home more medals each weekend.
