Hartford Summer Duals

June 19th and 20th

Information:  Competition will be held at Hartford Union High School, 805 Cedar Street, Hartford, WI, 53027.   The Duals will be limited to 16 teams wrestling on eight individual mats.  Each team will receive 7 matches throughout the duals.  Teams are limited to 20 wrestlers with 14 possible weight classes.  Additional wrestlers may be placed on other teams as needed.  The duals are open to wrestlers entering the 9th grade through next years (2009-10) senior class.  Wrestlers will not be allowed to weigh-in without a Permission/Release form signed by their parent or guardian.  Weight classes will be the normal high school weight classes.  Matches will consist of 3 folk-style periods, each period consisting of 2 minutes with a running clock.

Cost:  The cost per team is $400.  Please make checks payable to Hartford Wrestling Club.

Registration:  Mail completed registration forms (see attached to flyer), Permission/Release Form for each wrestler and check to: Steve Best, 805 Cedar Street, Hartford, WI, 53027. Registration deadline is June 1, 2009.  However, space is limited to 16 teams so please register early.  Roster changes will be allowed until registration but an initial roster is due June 1, 2009. 

Concessions: Concession stand will be available Friday and Saturday.

2pm-3pm:  Team warm-up                                           9-10:30am:  4th round

3pm-4:30pm:  1st round                                               11am- 12:30pm:  5th round

5pm-6:30pm:  2nd round                                              12:30pm-1:00pm:  Break /Lunch                                          

6:30pm-7:00pm:  Break/Dinner                                   1:00pm-2:30pm:  6th round

7:00pm-8:30pm:  3rd round                                          2:30pm-4:00pm:  7th round
