About Us
Coach DeRoehn is in his fifth season as the Head Wrestling Coach at
the University of
Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The Titans are well on their way to becoming one
of the top teams in
NCAA Division III. In the 2006-2007 season, the Titans were
nationally ranked for just the
second time in school history, attained their first NCAA qualifier
since 2001, and attained
their first All-American in nearly a decade. In 2008, DeRoehn led
the Titans to their first
appearance at the 2008 National Dual Meet Championships. In addition
to the accolades beginning to mount
on the wrestling mat, DeRoehn has coached two Academic All-Americans
and the Titans were
named one of the Top 20 NCAA Scholar Wrestling Teams in 2007.
In 2006 Coach DeRoehn became the State Coach for the Wisconsin
Wrestling Federation
guiding the Wisconsin National Team at the Schoolboy, Cadet and
Junior level. Since then
Wisconsin has had 38 All-Americans at the Cadet/Junior National
Tournament including 5
National Champions. In 2008 DeRoehn led Team Wisconsin to it’s first
ever NATIONAL
CHAMPIONSHIP at the Cadet National Duals.
A Note from the coach
The focus of Train Like a Titan Wrestling will be on proper
instruction of fundamental technique,
training methods, learning how to drill, how to compete, and most
importantly, having fun!
I hope you will join us this season to learn the techniques and
training methods we use to train
All-Americans. Take your wrestling to the next level.
Get “TITAN TRAINED”!
Sincerely,
Coach DeRoehn
