- USA Wrestling will have a total of five training camps
in the three Olympic styles to prepare the U.S. Olympic Team for
wrestling for competition in Beijing, China.
Men’s freestyle will hold two separate training
camps. One camp will held in Phoenix, Ariz., July 3-12, and a
second will take place at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in
Colorado Springs, Colo., July 17-31. The camp will be conducted
by Olympic coaches Kevin Jackson, Kerry McCoy, and Lee Kemp. Women’s freestyle will also have two camps, both at the U.S.
Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. One will be
June 30 to July 13 and the second is set for July 21 to August
1. Olympic coaches Terry Steiner and Tadaaki Hatta will run the
camp. Greco-Roman has one training camp scheduled. It will be held
June 29 to July 19 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in
Colorado Springs, Colo. The camp will be conducted by Olympic

coordinating a trip to the Outdoor Challenge Wrestling Camp in
Valentine, Nebraska June 22-27. They will attend the Jason Kelber Intensive session June 22-27.
This is a really unique camp and a great time.

They have chartered a round-trip bus. They are currently seeking
11 wrestlers and one or two coaches to fill out the 45 spots. The cost of the bus is $90 round trip per wrestler and the camp
runs $365. Currently there are kids from Eau Claire, Waukesha South, Cadott
and Maple Grove, MN going. Spots will be filled on a "first come, first served" basis.
There are currently wrestlers who will be 8th through 11th
graders next school year and range in size from 90lbs. to

Folkstyle Officials Noon April 18
ATTENTION: TWO Experienced WIAA (High School) Licensed Folkstyle
Referees Needed at NOON April 18 for the 4th Annual "Duals in
the Dells". This event is sponsored by the Northland Youth
Wrestling Association of Minnesota. It involves Folkstyle dual
meets between the top K-6th and 7th-8th wrestling teams from
Michigan and Minnesota and will be held at NOON April 18 at the
Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells,
Wisconsin Two WIAA Licensed Officials are needed at the at NOON Friday,
April 18. The event will last approximately 5 hours with four
rounds of wrestling. The event will pay each official $150.00 for officiating. Please immediately contact Corey Olson via email at

will host the first ever Girls Freestyle State Tournament this
weekend in Fond du Lac during the WWF Greco-Roman State
Tournament.
Please encourage female athletes to participate as this is a
very great opportunity and large step for women's wrestling in

- WWF Greco State Tournament Saturday
April 19 Fond du Lac High School: Weigh-ins will be held Friday night 5:30 -8 PM at Fond du
Lac High School and 5:30 - 7:00 PM at remote weigh-in sites at
West Allis Central, DeForest, Adams-Friendship, DC Everest High
Schools.
Wrestlers can still pre-register online until Tuesday April 15,
10:00PM.
Wrestlers can also register on site Friday night at any of the
weigh-in sites.
